"Tranquility Base here. The Eagle has landed."
17 x 11 inches
Silkscreen on Digital Print
Source images photographed from handmade wood structure and daily scenarios.
The print series 1969 was inspired by a report that the Tranquility Base built for the moon landing has remained unvisited since the astronauts’ short stay there in 1969. The structure as the subject in the prints is a representation of human activity, and it is placed at various realities. No matter sits on empty wilderness, or in a room full of life remains, or be surrounded by a crowd, illustrates the isolated expectations humans left sealed in their vast casting of the future.
